CookSharp! v.2.1b - Beta Version

CookSharp! is currently in beta. v.2.1b is the latest public release.

Download CookSharp! v.2.1b Installer

Installation

Just download the installer and double-click it.

Using CookSharp!

Upon starting the program, you will be presented with the Open Recipe dialog. The program comes with an empty recipe database so there won't be any recipes listed to open upon first running the program. Click the New Recipe button and the Edit Recipe interface will be displayed. Type a title for your recipe, then add ingredients and directions using the buttons in the associated group boxes.

When entering ingredients, enter fractional amounts as fractions. Fractions are converted and stored internally as decimals so that future versions will be able to perform multiplication and division upon ingredient measurements.

When you are done entering your recipe, you may view it in the View Recipe tab. When everything looks OK, go back to the Edit Recipe tab and click the save button to save your recipe in the database.

If you like CookSharp!, sign up for the mailing list (link at left). I promise you will only get emails when a new version is released.

If you'd like to see features added to future versions by all means let me know!
